Fr. John S Kaoukakis

 Glory to God in the Highest for sending me to a place of warmth and kindness. As I have already witnessed the people of this Koimisis Hellenic Orthodox Community are kind, hospitable and full of life, so I will try to serve rather than to be served and be humble in all my tasks. As your new parish priest my aim is to continue preaching and ministering to you the faithful as best I can. After receiving the baton from Fr. George Tolias I will strive to continue strengthening your bond with Christ in the most spiritual fatherly way.

I am a third generation priest from my late maternal grandfather Fr. John Hatzidakis from Souri Chania Crete, his brother Fr. Efstathios Hatzidakis from Salt Lake City Utah USA and son Fr. Constantinos Chatzidakis from San Bernardino California USA.

As you can see my calling was embedded in me from an early age, born and raised in Montreal Qc. studied at Hellenic College in Brooklyn Mass. USA and later at the Toronto Orthodox Theological Academy.

I am a priest of 15 years, 48 yrs of age, married with children.
I look forward in getting to know all of you in the near future while remaining sincere and loving as your new spiritual father.

God bless you all my spiritual children and remember I am here for you and your salvation. For it says in Acts. 20:28  “Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.”
